All About Eve:
Her "Love Come Down" debut was an instant club success, and was the very first More Protein record available in a picture sleeve. Her first American single, "Love Is A Master Of Disguise" is particularly satisfying with its remixes by world-renowned Frankie Knuckles. Although her debut album "Woman Can Have It" was faced with incredible production problems (including having the deal with Virgin yanked out from underneath it), it is still one of the best albums of 1995. It not only collects all her past hits, but showcases her range of talents beyond the dance floor with the jazzy "Last Night" and heavenly "Amazing Grace". Eve toured America with this album in 1995 as the opening act of Boy George's "Satan's Butterfly Ball" tour, and was met with great reaction. A taste of the future for Eve Gallagher can be sampled on the More Protein "Closet Classics Volume 2" compilation album. Her rendition of the disco classic "(Please Don't Let Me Be) Misunderstood" is one of the highest points of the record.
