'EK individueel' verplaatst
De Griekse stad Patras heeft zich teruggetrokken als organisator voor
het EK individueel dat van 25 mei t/m 20 juni op het programma stond.
Turkije neemt de organisatie nu op zich. Uit het persbericht:
Due to the withdrawal of Patras/Greece it was necessary to look for
another venue for the European Individual Championship 2003. Finally
Boris Kutin has decided to accept the bid from the Turkish Chess
Federation. This event will now be held in Silivri, Istanbul/Turkey
from 29 May (arrival) until 14 June 2003 (departure). The total prize
fund will be 192.000,-- US $, Marine Princess Hotel, full board in a
single room 80 US $, in a double room 64 US $.

within the next days.
