Siemens Medical Solutions en Delft Instruments' dochter Nucletron sluiten distributiecontract
"Siemens Oncology Care Systems", een onderdeel van Siemens Medical Solutions, heeft aangekondigd dat zij de Nucletron Simulix simulators wereldwijd aan haar klanten gaat aanbieden.
De overeenkomst is voor vier jaar afgesloten en betekent voor Nucletron een uitstekende mogelijkheid om haar producten voor een nog grotere groep gebruikers van radiotherapiesystemen beschikbaar te maken waardoor Nucletron's marktaandeel in de komende jaren zal blijven groeien.
Simulators worden in radiotherapie centra gebruikt voor de voorbereiding, planning en verificatie van de behandelingsplannen voor kankerbestrijding door middel van radioactieve stralingstherapie. De Simulix productlijn wordt wereldwijd erkend als de "gouden" standaard op het gebied van conventionele simulatie en verificatie, hetgeen wordt onderbouwd door de grote klantenbasis van meer dan 1000 systemen.
Nucletron, reeds één van de leiders op het gebied van simulators, blijft de producten ook rechtstreeks aan haar klanten aanbieden.
