Bangalore Office

    PRINCETON, NJ--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 2003--PharmaNet

announced the appointments of Suresh Bowalekar, PhD, to Senior
Director, Biostastics and Data Management and Rajendra Talele, M.
Pharm, to Manager, Clinical Research. Dr. Bowalekar and Mr. Talele
will be based in PharmaNet's Bangalore, India office.
    Dr. Bowalekar, an accomplished biostatistician, has held
senior-level positions in the pharmaceutical and contract research
industries. Prior to joining PharmaNet, Dr. Bowalekar was Director,
Data Management and Biostatistics for a major international contract
research organization. Dr. Bowalekar has also held the position of
General Manager, Clinical Research & Statistics Unit for Wockhardt
Limited and was a Clinical Trials Manager for Searle Limited, both in
Mumbai.
    Mr. Talele has worked in the R&D department of major
pharmaceutical companies, and the contract research industry for more
than 10 years and has a broad range of therapeutic experience
including oncology, neurology, and infectious disease. Prior to
joining PharmaNet, Mr. Talele was Project Manager for a major
international contract research organization.
