De Marie Curie Actions zijn interessante beurzen voor promovendi,
postdocs en ervaren onderzoekers in alle wetenschappelijke
disciplines: alfa, bèta en gamma. De Marie Curie Actions maken deel
uit van het zevende frameworkprogramma van de EU.
Voor promovendi zijn er de netwerken voor aanvangstrainingen.
Gastinstellingen kunnen geld vragen voor meerdere promovendi. Voor
postdocs heeft de EU de individuele fellowships voor onderzoek aan
Europese en niet-Europese instituten. Voor ervaren onderzoekers
(postdocs, uhd's en hoogleraren) bestaan bovendien de
Industry-Academia partnerships. Het doel van deze beurzen is de
uitwisseling tussen onderzoekers van universiteiten en ondernemingen.
De workshop biedt naast meer informatie over de Marie Curie Actions,
ook informatie over zaken als geschiktheidcriteria en financiën. Er
worden tips gegeven voor het schrijven en indienen van een Marie
Curievoorstel. Verder wordt er informatie gegeven over het
Ideasprogramma. Dit programma voorziet in onderzoeksbeurzen aan meer
ervaren onderzoekers en is eenvoudig te combineren met de Marie Curie
Actions.
De workshop wordt gehouden door Alie Kwint, de contactpersoon voor
Nederland voor het Marie Curieprogramma in SenterNovem/EG Liaison. De
workshop wordt gevolgd door een presentatie van de ervaringen van de
Marie Curie Summer School die recentelijk van start is gegaan, door
het Grotius Center van Campus Den Haag.

The Marie Curie Actions are an interesting grant for PhD-students,
post-docs and experienced researchers for all scientific disciplines;
alpha, beta and gamma. The Marie Curie Actions are part of the new 7Th
Framework Programmes of the EU.
For PhD's there are the Networks for Initial Training. Host
institutions can request money for several PhD's. For post-docs the EU
has the Individual Fellowships for research on European and
non-European institutes. For experienced researchers (post-docs,
uhd's, professors) there is also the possibility of Industry Academia
Partnerships. The goal of this grant is exchange between researchers
of universities and enterprises.
This workshop will provide you with more information on the Marie
Curie Actions, as well as on issues concerning eligibility criteria
and financials. Tips for writing and submitting a Marie Curie proposal
will be given. In addition, some information will be given about the
Ideas-programme. This programme offers research grants to more
advanced researchers and is easily compatible with the Marie Curie
Actions.
The presentation will be held by mrs. Alie Kwint, National Contact
Point for the Marie Curie Programme at SenterNovem/EG Liaison. The
presentation will be followed by the experiences of the recently
launched Marie Curie Summer School, held by the Grotius Center of
Legal Studies, Campus The Hague.
