Nieuw Europees traject: Coding of information and traceability of human
tissues and cells

De Europese Commissie (DG SANCO) heeft aan het Europese Normalisatie
Instituut CEN opdracht gegeven om een werkgroep te starten met
betrekking tot 'Coding of information and traceability of human
tissues and cells' met het volgende doel:
'The Workshop deliverable will be a CEN Workshop Agreement (CWA) that
will set out the specifications of a European coding system for human
tissues and cells, and how the system should be implemented. The CWA
will build upon core principles already agreed on, and work done this
far by the DG SANCO Working Group on coding of human tissues and cells
established under Article 29 of the Tissues and cells Directive.'
Startbijeenkomst
De Workshop Agreement komt door middel van open bijeenkomsten tot
stand, waarin iedere belanghebbende deel kan nemen. NEN zal het
secretariaat van het project voeren. De startbijeenkomst zal op 13
april 2007 bij CEN in Brussel gehouden worden. Geïnteresseerde
belanghebbende partijen zijn voor deze bijeenkomst uitgenodigd.
