Alitalia states that the request received this evening from Bruno Ermolli, appointed by
prime minister Silvio Berlusconi to oversee the Company's future, will be closely
examined during the next Board of Directors Meeting to be held on May 13, in
compliance with instructions in this matter from the Minister of Economy and Finance.
