Eerste Descartes-Huygens lezing
Professor Harold Cook, directeur van de Wellcome Trust Centre for the
History of Medicine (University College London) is de eerste Fellow
van het Descartes Centre for the History and Philosophy of the
Sciences and Humanities.
Professor Cook verzorgt op 5 juni de eerste Descartes-Huygens lezing.
Deze jaarlijks terugkerende lezing wordt georganiseerd door het
Utrechtse Descartes Centre en het Huygens Instituut (KNAW). De titel
is 'The Scientific Revolution in The Netherlands: Moving About and
Finding Things Out'.
De toegang tot deze lezing is gratis.
Na de lezing bent u van harte uitgenodigd voor een borrel.
