NOMINATIES EUROPEAN FILM AWARDS VOOR DE KORTE FILM
Nederland vertegenwoordigd met RAAK van Hanro Smitsman Uitreiking tijdens de European Film Awards Ceremony zaterdagavond 6 december 2008, Kopenhagen
Gedurende het hele jaar wordt, met dank aan de European Film Academy en UIP, op
toonaangevende Europese filmfestivals waaronder het International Film Festival
Rotterdam, de Prix UIP uitgereikt. De winnaars van de Prix UIP worden automatisch
genomineerd voor de European Film Award in de categorie korte film.
Uit Nederland dingt de korte film RAAK (Contact) van Hanro Smitsman mee. Deze film
won op het Internationale Filmfestival van Vlaanderen Ghent de Prix UIP.
De 1800 leden van de European Film Academy wijzen uit de lijst genomineerden de
uiteindelijke winnaar aan. Zaterdagavond 6 december vindt in Kopenhagen, Denemarken
de prijsuitreiking plaats.
Dit weekend is op het Film Festival in Drama (Griekenland) de laatste film genomineerd,
de Hongaarse korte film TÜRELEM (With A Little Patience) van Laszlo Nemes. De
internationale jury bestond uit regisseur Bujar Alimani (Albanië), Morad Kertobi van de
CNC, de regisseurs Konstantin Lopushansky (Rusland) en Janno Põldma (Letland), en
regisseur / producent Maria Hatzimichali-Papaliou (Griekenland).
