In de week van 16-22 november 2009 neemt Nederland samen met 88 andere landen wereldwijd deel aan de Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW). Tijdens één week zullen miljoenen jongeren zich wereldwijd aansluiten bij een groeiende beweging van ondernemende mensen, om nieuwe ideeën te genereren en op zoek te gaan naar manieren om dit uit te voeren. Een initiatief om jonge mensen te inspireren om innovatie, verbeelding en creativiteit te omarmen.

Schilperoort Lecture
The theme chosen for the Global Entrepreneurschip Week 2009 by Wageningen University is Social Entrepreneurship. Therefore the program of the Schilperoort lectures is focusing on Entrepreneurship in developing countries, with speakers who obtained their education in The Netherlands and now, with a large commitment and enthusiasm are playing an important role in bringing science to application in these emerging markets. They will tell their personal story.
