HAMBURG, August 19, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- MicronNexus GmbH, a leading specialist car hire technology
(subsidiary of one of the world's largest travel companies, TUI Travel PLC),
with Galileo and Apollo, part of the global Travelport GDS distribution
systems, have just launched their new interface connection.
The launch of the new interface will provide Galileo users
access to 40 local suppliers such as Auto Jardim, Guerin, Goldcar, Avia Cars,
Thaicars, Buchbinder, First Car South Africa, etc. At later stages more
products of the over 100 local suppliers at MicronNexus will be made
available directly as well as a broker product by TUI called "TUI Car Hire."
This product will offer special insurance packages and boast specially
negotiated rates.
Car Hire companies looking for distribution over Galileo as
well as agents wishing to access specific car vendors can completely save the
time and cost of building the complicated interface. In addition Galileo
customers have the opportunity to choose between different price and display
models, which could be negotiated individually ranging from exclusive
collaboration with one car rental company to a complete range of offers,
which include both net/gross as well as pre/payment-on-site models.
