1. Sustainable Universities and Higher Education

2. Sustainable Innovation, Design, Business and CSR

3. Sustainable Consumption and Production

4. Climate, Energy and Water

5. Sustainable Cities and Regions

6. Sustainable Consumption and Production in Developing Countries

Call for participation in an international conference on sustainability

ERSCP - EMSU 2010, 25 - 29 October 2010

A sustainable society requires innovation and cooperation between all parties involved; from businesses and government organisations through to research institutes and knowledge centres.

The exchange of knowledge and expertise between these parties is essential. Under the title 'knowledge collaboration & learning for sustainable innovation', ERSCP-EMSU 2010 (a collaboration of Delft University, TNO-a not for profit independent knowledge organisation- and The Hague University of Applied Sciences) organises a conference. Six main themes will be addressed. Both the regional dimension of innovation and sustainability and international cooperation will be in the focal point of attention. In addition to the exchange of knowledge and expertise there is full opportunity for discussion and network activities.

The six main themes are:

1. Sustainable Universities and Higher Education

2. Sustainable Innovation, Design, Business and CSR

3. Sustainable Consumption and Production

4. Climate, Energy and Water

5. Sustainable Cities and Regions

6. Sustainable Consumption and Production in Developing Countries

The organisation committee offers businesses the opportunity to explicitly present themselves on the second day of the conference, Wednesday 27 October. After all, businesses play a crucial role in creating a sustainable world.

As a business your participation may range from presenting your vision with regard to the programme themes to doing a workshop explaining how your vision can be translated into practice. You can sign up until 15 April 2010!

You can find more information and the possibility to sign up through www.erscp-emsu2010.org and then select 'submissions' or you can contact Johan Woudstra: jbwoudstra@hhs.nl.
