Annemieke Nijhof to be nominated for appointment to the Executive Board of Grontmij N.V.
De Bilt, 18 August 2011 Grontmij announces that its Supervisory Board will nominate Mrs. A.G. (Annemieke) Nijhof for appointment as member of the Executive Board of Grontmij N.V. at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Grontmij N.V. to be held on 9 November 2011. Sylvo Thijsen, CEO of Grontmij N.V.: `We are delighted with the nomination for appointment of Mrs. Nijhof as member of our Executive Board. Following her appointment the executive board will, in addition to the CEO and CFO, consist of three members each responsible for a business line underlining our strategic focus. Mrs. Nijhof will be responsible for the business line Water & Energy, the region UK, and Central and Eastern Europe and Corporate Social Responsibility. She brings extensive knowledge and experience in this sector which will contribute to the further implementation of our strategy'.
Mrs. Nijhof (1966) has some twenty years of experience both in the public and private sector. She started her career as project manager at Tauw consultants, where she became head of the water sector in 1996. She was Deputy Director external safety of the Department of Public Health, Spatial Planning and Environment and later became advisor to the Prime Minister on sustainable development. In 2008 Mrs. Nijhof was appointed Director General Water at the Department of Infrastructure and Environment. Mrs. Nijhof is a Dutch national. She is a Master of Science in Chemical Technology (Twente University) and holds an executive MBA from the TSM Business School. Mrs. Nijhof will be nominated for appointment for a period of 4 years as per 9 November 2011. The remuneration of Mrs. Nijhof will be in line with the current remuneration policy of the group.
After the appointment in accordance with this nomination the Executive Board will consist of the following five members: Mr. S. Thijsen (CEO), Mr. D.M. Zuydam (CFO), Mr. G.P. Dral, Mr. J.L. Schnoebelen and Mrs. A.G. Nijhof. For the coming year, Mr. Thijsen will continue to head the

Annemieke Nijhof wordt voorgedragen als lid Raad van Bestuur Grontmij N.V.
De Bilt, 18 augustus 2011 Grontmij maakt bekend dat de Raad van Commissarissen mevrouw Ir. A.G. (Annemieke) Nijhof voordraagt voor benoeming tot lid van de Raad van Bestuur van Grontmij N.V. tijdens een buitengewone algemene vergadering van aandeelhouders van Grontmij N.V. op 9 november 2011. Sylvo Thijsen, CEO of Grontmij N.V.: `We zijn verheugd over de voordracht voor benoeming van mevrouw Nijhof tot lid van onze Raad van Bestuur. Na haar benoeming bestaat de Raad van Bestuur naast de CEO en CFO uit drie leden, die elk verantwoordelijk zijn voor een van de drie business lines die onze strategische focus onderstrepen. Mevrouw Nijhof zal verantwoordelijk zijn voor de business line Water & Energy, de regio Verenigd Koninkrijk, Midden- en Oost-Europa en duurzaamheid. Dankzij haar ruime kennis en ervaring zal zij in belangrijke mate bijdragen aan de verdere implementatie van onze strategie'.
Mevrouw Nijhof (1966) heeft ruim twintig jaar ervaring in zowel de publieke als de private sector. Ze begon haar carrière als projectmanager bij Tauw Adviesbureau, waar ze in 1996 hoofd van de sector Water werd. Ze was adjunct-directeur externe veiligheid op het Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Ruimtelijke Ordening en Milieubeheer, en werd later Raadsadviseur van de Minister-President op het gebied van duurzaamheid. In 2008 werd mevrouw Nijhof benoemd tot directeur-generaal Water op het Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Milieu. Mevrouw Nijhof heeft de Nederlandse nationaliteit. Zij is Master of Science in de chemische technologie (Universiteit van Twente) en heeft een executive MBA-diploma van de TSM Business School. Mevrouw Nijhof wordt voorgedragen voor benoeming voor een periode van vier jaar met ingang van 9 november 2011. De beloning van mevrouw Nijhof is in overeenstemming met het huidige beloningsbeleid van de groep.
Na de benoeming in overeenstemming met deze voordracht bestaat de Raad van Bestuur uit de volgende vijf leden: de heer S. Thijsen (CEO), de heer D.M. Zuydam (CFO), de heer G.P. Dral, de heer J.L. Schnoebelen en mevrouw A.G. Nijhof. Het komende jaar zal de heer Thijsen leiding blijven
