Minister-president Peeters en de Moldavische ambassadeur Gribincea
openen op 19 september de tentoonstelling "At Home in Moldova" van
fotograaf Mihai Potârniche in Brussel.
Minister-president van de Vlaamse Regering, Kris Peeters en Ambassadeur
van de Republiek Moldova voor het Koninkrijk België, de Heer Mihai
Gribincea, openen op maandag 19 september de fototentoonstelling "At
Home in Moldova" van Mihai Potârniche in Brussel.
Mihai Potârniche (1951) was 19 jaar toen hij zijn eerste opdrachten als
fotojournalist tot een goed einde bracht. Tot op de dag van vandaag is
Mihai Potârniche werkzaam in de nieuwsindustrie. Nu als hoofd van de
fotoredactie van het Moldavische nieuwsagentschap MOLDPRESS.
Naast zijn werk als journalist was en is Mihai Potârniche ook zeer
actief binnen andere takken van de fotografie. Zijn favoriete onderwerp
is zonder twijfel zijn thuisland Moldavië. De nostalgische toets is
steeds aanwezig in z'n werk; van de weemoed naar de tijd en plaats van
zijn jeugd tot aan het melancholisch verlangen naar zijn voorouderlijke
wortels. Potârniche stelt in 25 werken zijn Moldavië aan u voor.
De tentoonstelling is te bezichtigen tot en met 30 september 2011 in
het Boudewijngebouw, Boudewijnlaan 30, 1000 Brussel. De toegang is
vrij.
Opening of the "At Home in Moldova" exhibition in Brussels
On 19 September, Minister-President Peeters and the Moldovan Ambassador
Gribincea will be opening the "At Home in Moldova" exhibition by
photographer Mihai Potârniche in Brussels.
On Monday 19 September, the Minister-President of the Government of
Flanders, Kris Peeters, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova
for the Kingdom of Belgium, Mr Mihai Gribincea, will be opening the "At
Home in Moldova" photo exhibition by Mihai Potârniche in Brussels.
Mihai Potârniche (1951) was 19 years old when he brought his first
assignments as a photo journalist to a successful conclusion. Up to
now, Mihai Potârniche has been working in the news industry. He
currently holds the position of head of the photo editors of the
Moldovan news agency MOLDPRESS.
Apart from his work as a journalist, Mihai Potârniche has been, and
still is, very active within other branches of photography. His
favourite subject is most definitely his homeland Moldova. His work is
always characterized by a nostalgic touch, whether he is wistfully
thinking back about the time and place of his youth, or nostalgically
longing for his ancestors' roots. Potârniche presents his Moldova to
you in 25 photographs.
The exhibition can be visited until 30 September 2011 at the
Boudewijngebouw, Boudewijnlaan 30, 1000 Brussels. Admission is free.
