If you want to receive news related to LOFAR, please subscribe to the lofar-news mailing list. You can do that by sending an email to:
majordomo [at] astron [dot] nl
with the first line in the body of the message as:
subscribe lofar-news
It doesn't matter what the subject of the email is as long as that string is in the message body. You should get an email reply back telling you that you have subscribed successfully.
Subscribe to the LSM mailing list
The Radio Observatory organizes regular LOFAR Status Meetings (LSM's) to give an ovewrview of recent LOFAR activities and science results. The LSM's take place every other Wednesday, at 11 am. The meetings take place at ASTRON, but they can also be followed remotely by using the Vidyo
videocon tool. Details about the agenda and how to join the meeting are circulated via e-mail one day before each LSM. If you want to attend the regular LOFAR Status Meetings (LSM's), you can also subscribe to the LSM mailing list. You can do that by sending an email to:
