De Unie sent in June/July a letter to your employer, together with Synergo, in order to convince SABIC to extend the validity of the social plan. This month SABIC took up the conversation about this extension.
On the 12th of November we, De Unie, together with the other unions, talked with your employer about the social plan with which you are familiar because it was used during the WINreorganizations. For De Unie only one result was logical en that result is continuation of the existing social
plan. It wouldn't be fair to do less than during WIN, regarding the people who have to leave the company the coming time. But it also wouldn't be fair to do more than during the win period because of the people who had to leave during the win reorganizations. So the result should be
quite predictable.
