Mensenrechtendag: Boekarest
De activiteiten die de ambassade Boekarest organiseert op 10 december zijn in samenwerking met Ngo Euroregional Center for Public Initiatives. Het is een mensenrechtenorganisatie die seksuele en reproductieve rechten verdedigt en bevordert.
‘December 10: Celebrating Sexual and Reproductive Rights as Human Rights’
1. Round table on sexual and reproductive rights as human rights and the need to adopt a national strategy on sexual and reproductive rights
2. Photo exhibition “Hear me out”: voices of support for SRR as human rights
3. Creating a website containing – information about the situation of SRR in Romania, steps that needs to be done by Romania in accordance with the United Nations’ Universal Periodic Review (2013), sexual and reproductive rights as human rights
4. Mapping and raising awareness among selected NGOs about the initiatives counteracting SRR and the effect of their involvement upon the human rights of vulnerable groups (such as women, teenagers, LGBT).
