Op 12 juni heeft de Europese Commissie een rapport naar buiten
gebracht over de uitrol van 3G in de Europese Unie. Het rapport doet
verslag van de huidige moeilijkheden in de sector en de
toekomstperspectieven. Volgens Commissaris Liikanen (Information
Society) heeft de uitrol van het netwerk en de ontwikkeling van 3G
diensten, ondanks de vele moeilijkheden, toekomstperspectieven die hij
met vertrouwen tegemoet ziet.
Als u hierover ideeën heeft dan nodig ik u van harte uit contact
hierover op te nemen met mij.

European Commission reports on 3G
On 12 June the European Commission adopted a communication on 3G roll out in Europe. The communication is an assessment on the major obstacles and perspectives in third generation mobile communications. According to Commissioner Liikanen (Information Society), "...3G has developed sufficient momentum to overcome the present difficulties. the Commission remains confident in this respect."
