Telecom.paper launches TelecomSMS service

HOUTEN, 20020925 -- Telecom.paper announces the launch of TelecomSMS, a new interactive news services for telecom professionals. It will keep users up-to-date with the latest developments in the turbulent telecommunication market.

A subscriber to TelecomSMS will receive a short text message on any news item that matches his personal profile. Besides receiving a SMS headline, users can ask for delivery of the complete abstract to any fax in the Netherlands or to any e-mail address by responding to the received SMS news message. This service not only keeps users informed on the latest developments, but also enables the receiver to obtain more detailed information if required. TelecomSMS is at present only available for Dutch mobile subscribers.

With the product TelecomSMS, Telecom.paper co-operates with TSS. TSS has the ability to deliver content across any media and has a leading position in the centre of media broadcasters, Internet service providers and telecom operators.
