Borland versterkt managementteam
~ Kenneth R. Hahn wordt nieuwe senior vice-president en CFO ~
30 oktober 2002 - Borland Software Corporation heeft Kenneth R. Hahn aangesteld als senior vice-president en chief financial officer (CFO). Hahn was voorheen werkzaam bij Extensity Inc. (Nasdaq: EXTN), een toonaangevende aanbieder van enterprise software voor employee relationship management (ERM). Bij Borland wordt hij verantwoordelijk voor de financiële- en corporate services afdelingen, waaronder ook human resources, facilities en informatietechnologie vallen. Hij zal direct rapporteren aan Dale L. Fuller, president en chief executive officer van Borland.
Hahn is de vervanger van Frederick A. Ball, die is bevorderd tot executive vice-president van corporate development en fusies & overnames.
Voor hij bij Borland in dienst trad, was Hahn werkzaam als senior vice-president, chief financial officer (CFO) en secretaris van Extensity. Daarvoor werkte hij als management consultant bij The Boston Consulting Group, waar hij strategische adviezen gaf aan het management van hightech en Fortune 500-bedrijven. Hahn werkte vijf jaar voor het accountantskantoor PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP en is zowel certified public accountant (CPA) als certified management accountant (CMA).
