ENECO
closes gas storage contract with NAM
Rotterdam, 09-03-2004 As of February 2004 ENECO Energy Trade BV has
access to a part of the underground storage operated by Nederlandse
Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM) at Grijpskerk. The required contracts were
signed at the end of January this year in Rotterdam. ENECO is of the
opinion that the gas market is developing for which the activities
that she performs should fit the place ENECO is taking in the Energy
sector.
A team of specialists is continuously assessing the possibilities to
extend ENECO's activities in the gas market. In this respect ENECO
uses the added value of storage particularly to serve her customer
base and to support her trading activities.
The use of underground storage has become feasible after the opening
of her underground gas storage facilities for third party access by
NAM in 2002.
