Conferentie European Christian Political Movement 22-04-2004
De ChristenUnie werkt aan internationale samenwerking met andere
christelijke politieke partijen binnen Europa. Op 30 november 2002
heeft zij samen met andere politieke partijen uit heel Europa in
Lakitelek (Hongarije) de basis gelegd voor een European Christian
Political Movement. In de aanloop naar de Europese verkiezingen wordt
er van 22-24 april een vervolgconferentie belegd. Hieronder vindt u de
uitnodiging en het programma (engelstalig).

Dear Sir, Madam,
We kindly invite you to the conference of the European Christian
Political Movement, titled Political cooperation in Europe, held 22-24
April 2004 at the head office of the ChristianUnion in Amersfoort, the
Netherlands.
This conference is a follow-up meeting of the two international
Christian conferences at Lakitelek, Hungary, which have been held in
December 2002 and September 2003. Christian political parties and NGOs
from more than 10 countries discussed new chances for Christian
politics in Europe and Values for Europe. Both conferences ended with
a Declaration on the common values and the participants founded the
European Christian Political Movement to realise the principles and to
be the framing network of cooperation. The Declaration can be read on
At the upcoming conference we would like to discuss the future of the
ECPM and further political cooperation in Europe and the European
Parliament. Please find enclosed the program and the registration
form. We would like to welcome 2 or 3 representatives per party.
