Crucell maakt PER.C6® licentieovereenkomst met Vakzine Projekt Management bekend
Leiden, 8 december 2005 - Het Nederlandse biotechnologiebedrijf Crucell N.V. (Euronext, NASDAQ: CRXL) heeft vandaag bekendgemaakt dat het een PER.C6® licentieovereenkomst met het Duitse vaccin ontwikkelingsbedrijf Vakzine Projekt Management (VPM) GmbH heeft getekend.
De niet-exclusieve overeenkomst stelt VPM in staat om de PER.C® cellijn te gebruiken om een vaccin te ontwikkelen om een niet nader bekendgemaakte infectieziekte te voorkomen, en om diagnostica te ontwikkelen. VPM heeft ook een optie verkregen om de onderzoekslicentie om te zetten in een niet-exclusieve productspecifieke commerciële licentie.
Op grond van de overeenkomst maakt VPM een aanvangs- en jaarlijkse betalingen. Verdere financiële gegevens zijn niet bekendgemaakt.
