De Rijksakademie is een internationale onderzoeks- en productieplaats voor talentvolle professionele kunstenaars uit de hele wereld. Ook organiseert de Rijksakademie de Prix de Rome, beheert zij (historische en hedendaagse) collecties en maakt deze toegankelijk door publicaties en presentaties via het Expertisecentrum.
The Rijksakademie Residency in Amsterdam is an international research and production place for talented, professional artists from all over the world. The Rijksakademie also organizes the Prix de Rome. It manages (historical and contemporary) collections and makes them accessible through publications and presentations via the Expertise Center.
