In Duitsland is het aandeel biobrandstof van het totale
brandstofverbruik gedaald van 7,3% in 2007 naar 6,1% in 2008. In 2008
bedroeg de verkoop in het totaal 3,8 miljoen ton. Hiervan was 2,8
miljoen ton biodiesel.
