The NBA organises a roundtable together with the IAASB about audit quality, professional skepticism and group audits on Monday March 7^th 2016 in the afternoon.
There will be two sessions. In the first session representatives of the IAASB will have a discussion with several stakeholders. Initially the discussion will be held between the participants at the table. The possibility for those who are interested in the room to provide their input about
these topics will be limited.
The second session will contain the implementation of measure 1.2 of the report "In het publiek belang" which indicates that quality and professional skepticism should be included to the VGBA.
The reason for organizing this meeting is the released Invitation to Comment Enhancing Audit Quality in the Public Interest (ITC, invitation to respond) of the IAASB addressing these three issues. The IAASB has released two documents on the ITC. The firstgives an overview of the issues and
focuses on stakeholders such as investors who are interested in the subject, but not in all technical details. The extended version is more into technical details

Due to the presence of some of the IAASB members the first session will be in English. The second session on how the measure should be implemented is in Dutch
