Museon to present IDEALAB in International Lounge

On 16 April, the Museon is joining with Hague Talks and students from Pax Initiative to hold an IDEALAB about the United Nations' International Court of Justice and how to achieve lasting peace. The day will be for people of all ages and will be packed with inspiration and debate. It will take
place in the Museon's International Lounge, beginning at 9 a.m.
The Museon's International Lounge is a platform for innovative initiatives in the field of Peace and Justice. The results of the IDEALAB will be presented to Vice-President Yusuf of the International Court of Justice at 2.30 p.m. on 20 April. Members of the public can attend and will have the
chance to exchange ideas with the Judge about how to achieve peace. register@haguetalks.com
HagueTalksYouth
The first Hague Talks Youth - a joint initiative by the Museon and Hague Talks - is also to be launched on 16 April. Starting at 12.30 p.m., young people can share their views on peace and justice-related issues based on their own stories and experiences. Hague Talks Youth is based on the
successful Hague Talks formula. www.haguetalks.com These inspirational presentations about peace and justice are to take place several times a year at the Museon and will be open to the public.
The Hague and the 70th anniversary of the UN International Court of Justice
The IDEALAB is being held as part of the celebrations marking this April's 70th anniversary of the International Court of Justice. The Hague is the international city of peace and justice and host city of the International Court, which has its seat in the Peace Palace. UN Secretary-General Ban
Ki-moon will visit The Hague to attend the celebrations.

Museon presenteert IDEALAB in International Lounge
Op 16 april organiseert het Museon samen met Hague Talks en studenten van Pax Initiative, een dag vol inspiratie en discussie voor jong en oud tijdens een IDEALAB over het Internationaal Gerechtshof van de Verenigde Naties en duurzame vrede in de International Lounge van het Museon. Het
programma start om 9.00 uur.
De International Lounge van het Museon is een platform voor innovatieve initiatieven op het gebied van Vrede en Recht. De IDEALAB- resultaten worden aangeboden aan vice-president Yusuf van het Internationaal Gerechtshof op 20 april om 14.30 uur. Publiek kan daarbij aanwezig zijn en met de

Hague Talks Youth
Tijdens deze dag staat om 12.30 uur ook de eerste editie van Hague Talks Youth, een initiatief van Museon en Hague Talks, op het programma. Jongeren krijgen de kans om op basis van persoonlijke verhalen en ervaringen hun mening te delen over vrede en recht onderwerpen. Hague Talks Youth is
gebaseerd op de succesvolle formule van Hague Talks. www.haguetalks.com Deze inspirerende presentaties over vrede en recht zullen een aantal keer per jaar in het Museon georganiseerd worden en zijn toegankelijk voor het publiek.
Den Haag en 70 jaar Internationaal Gerechtshof Verenigde Naties
Het IDEALAB wordt georganiseerd in het teken van het 70-jarig bestaan van het Internationaal Gerechtshof, dat in de maand april wordt gevierd. Den Haag is de internationale stad van vrede en recht en gaststad voor het Hof dat in het Vredespaleis huist. De Secretaris-Generaal van de Verenigde
Naties Ban Ki-moon bezoekt dan Den Haag om de festiviteiten bij te wonen.
